1.WASH YOUR CASHMERE IN COLD WATER

Just like with machine washing, it is essential to wash your cashmere sweater in cold water (maximum 20°C) for hand washing. Indeed, hot water could cause it to shrink. Use a small amount of Hircus cashmere laundry as an excess of detergent could damage the fibers of your sweater. For the same reason, the use of fabric softener is not recommended.

2. DO NOT LET IT SOAK FOR LONG.

Dip your sweater in cold water, without twisting or rubbing it. It is not necessary to let it soak for a long time, as this may damage the knit. Once your cashmere sweater is washed, rinse it with clear water until the detergent disappears.

«Our advice: wash your cashmere in cold water, with a hint of Hircus detergent,

without letting it soak.. »

3.Gently squeeze out your cashmere.

To wring out your cashmere sweater, it is important not to twist it in order not to deform it. First, we advise you to fold it and then gently press it. Then, place it on a towel and roll it; the towel will absorb the water from the knit.

4. Lay it flat to dry.

The best way to dry your cashmere sweater without deforming it is to lay it flat on a cotton towel, which will quickly absorb the water from your cashmere sweater.

OUR LITTLE TRICKS

For a cashmere sweater that gets more beautiful with each season, discover our tips:

> Cashmere loves water! The more it is washed, the softer and more pleasant to the touch it will be. It is recommended to wash it regularly, every three to four wears, in cold water.

> Cashmere, like sweaters in general, may shrink slightly after the first wash; so it is not advisable to buy a cashmere sweater that is too tight when first trying it on.

> Make sure to protect your cashmere sweater from external aggressions. The plastic packaging in which it is delivered to you is reusable and protects it, for example, from moths and dust. Don't throw it away!

Did you know? Cedar is a natural solution to repel moths. Find our cedar balls to place in your wardrobe.
